Who We Support

At Enhanced Life Occupational Therapy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, we support children and young people across a wide range of developmental profiles, abilities and diagnoses. We work collaboratively with families, educators and other health professionals to provide consistent, meaningful support. Whether your child is typically developing or has a diagnosis, we provide individualised occupational therapy tailored to their strengths, needs and goals. Rather than focusing solely on labels, we focus on how your child participates in everyday life, delivering therapy within their goal-environment (at home, school or in the community) to build practical skills, independence, confidence and lasting progress.

Who We Work With
Family with two parents and three children

Parents/Caregivers/Families

We work with the child’s primary caregiver whether this is their parent/s, grandparents, foster family, or carers who may be concerned with their child’s development and performance. 

Preschools, Schools, Teachers

We work with schools and our clients' teachers. We provide both one off visits and frequent therapy in this environment depending what may be appropriate. We provide both 1:1 therapy and group therapy in common areas such as handwriting, movement, concentration, confidence and fine motor improvement and more.

We have worked with children and young adults with a range of disabilities for several years now and continue to enjoy spending time with each individual, positively impacting each individual and family’s life to ensure the best life possible around their goals. We work with children from birth to 18 years old with a range of diagnosis including Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Delay (ID), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD and ADD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), Rett Syndrome and many other conditions. We also see children with general life challenges, mild developmental delay and children with goals they are motivated to achieve, whether this be to improve their handwriting, ride a bike or do their hair independently.
